Summary:

Professional artist and teacher focused on watercolors and oil painting. Signature member of Georgia Watercolor Society with over 14 years painting experience. Accepted into over 60 juried shows. Studied with noted artists, including Mel Stabin, AWS, Betty Carr, Janet Walsh, AWS, Charles Reid, Margaret M. Martin, A.W.S and Tony Couch.  Studied privately with Gail Novak for several years. Also license images for stationery and home décor markets.

Atlanta Artists Center, Juried Member, Served on Board of Directors for four years, Vice President, Programs (2001), Treasurer (2002), Vice President, Membership (2003, 2004), Chairman of the Board (2003,2004). Chosen as "Volunteer of the Year" (2003); led Grady Hospital "Labor of Love" fundraiser generating 40 pieces of donated artwork valued at over $30,000. Built Membership base by more than 33%, (+ over 130 members) as Membership Chair.

Member of American Watercolor Society, Dunwoody Fine Arts Association, Missouri Watercolor Society and Southern Watercolor Society.

Initiated, chaired and coordinated 1st Annual “Trees in Art” National exhibition attracting over 340 artists and 850 works of art submitted to benefit a non-profit organization, Trees Atlanta.
